Sadio Mane has been ruled out of the World Cup due to an injury he suffered in Bayern Munich’s win over Werder Bremen.
Senegal’s first Group A match is against the Netherlands on Monday, followed by games against hosts Qatar and Ecuador.
Mane was named in Senegal’s 26-man World Cup squad despite injury but the forward will not play in Qatar due to his inability to recover from the injury.
