Southampton left footed defender Mohammed Abdul Karim Salisu is ready to take revenge on Uruguay for their well known Handball incident in 2010 World Cup ,South Africa.
The black stars of Ghana and La Celeste of Uruguay faced each other in the quarterfinals at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.Black stars were about to take the lead but Luis Suarez Alberto Diaz prevented,blocking the ball on the line with his hands.
He received a straight red card and the ball was put on the penalty spot,however Asamoah Gyan missed and Uruguay went on to beat Ghana on penalties.
Now the two nations face off again in the group stages in Qatar.Someone who is definitely ready for the tie is Southampton’s Salisu.I think Ghanaians and Africans are ready are waiting for the match because they are going for revenge.
He was quoted “I’m also waiting for the match,I have to fight for my country and I’m part of the revenge.
Mohammed Salisu has a good feeling that,The blacks stars of Ghana will do very well at Qatar.
Ghana have been place in a though group with Portugal,Uruguay and South Korea and therefore Mohammed Salisu believe they should be united and put everything together to make the country proud.
