Police Launch Investigation into Death of Cossy Hill Hotel CEO in Jirapa
The Ghana Police Service has initiated a probe into the untimely demise of Mr. Eric Johnson, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Cossy Hill Hotel, situated in Jirapa, within the Upper West Region.
The discovery of Mr. Johnson’s body on February 11th, 2024, in one of the hotel’s rooms, surrounded by a pool of blood, has prompted authorities to take action.
In response, the Regional Crime Scene Management Team visited the hotel to gather evidence and assess the circumstances of the incident.
As part of the ongoing investigation, one individual has been detained to aid in the inquiry.
To ensure a comprehensive and meticulous examination of the case, the Inspector-General of Police has dispatched a team of investigators and experts, under the leadership of the Director-General/CID, to collaborate with the Upper West Regional Police Command. Their collective efforts aim to shed light on the events leading to Mr. Johnson’s tragic demise.
