Ghanaian highlife singer has announced that his annual concert dubbed SHADES OF LOVE will not happen in 2024.
In a presser issued by the highlife musician, the reason for the cancellation of the concert wasn’t clearly stated. However, the presser pointed out that the concert was cancelled when they realised they couldn’t deliver what patrons have come to expect at the SHADES OF LOVE CONCERT.
Akwaboah has held the SHADES OF LOVE CONCERT for the past 6 years where he has treated many patrons on evocative journey of romantic songs.
Just after the release, Akwaboah in an interview with Nana Romeo on Accra FM hinted that, his cancellation csme when fellow Highlife musician, Kwabena Kwabena, also announced a show on February 14, 2024. According to Akwaboah, this came as a surprise to him because he was already made aware that Kwabena Kwabena’s show will be on February 10, 2024.
