The National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) and CEO for Rolling Pictures Limited, Emeka Rollas, has disclosed the cause of death of renowned Nollywood actor, John Okafor, widely known as Mr Ibu.
Mr Ibu was pronounced dead on Saturday, March 2, 2024.
One could recall he had his leg amputated in November 2023 for medical reasons; but as to what caused his death remained unwrapped to many.
But Mr Emeka Rollas has through Instagram post elucidated what caused his death.
He also announced that, Nigerian actress Kate Henshaw also her mother on the same day.
“Sad Day for Actors Guild of Nigeria.
“Kate Henshaw lost her mother earlier today and Mr Ibu suffered cardiac arrest according to his manager for 24 years Mr Don Single Nwuzor.
“I announce with a deep sense of grief that Mr Ibu didnt make it.
“May his soul rest in peace,” he wrote.
