American rapper and singer, Nelly, has claimed that the hardest era in hip-hop music has to be between 1999 to 2010.
His reason for the claim is sitting on the fact that, it was hard to occupy the number one spot because the pool of stars at that time was so enormous.
“When I put out songs, I had to go against DMX, JAY-Z, Eminem, Lil Wayne, 50 Cent, Luda – all of us are fighting for one spot,” he stated this on THE SHOP talk-show.
