Shatta Wale, a Ghanaian musician, has reacted after Funny Face was involved in a gruesome accident at Kasoa, Kakraba junction.
Ghanaian comedian/actor, Funny Face, hit up to 5 people with his car on the Kasoa Kakraba junction road on Sunday, 24th March 2024.
Eye witness alleged that Funny Face was drunk driving and ran into pedestrians who got severely injured.
The victims were, a grandmother and her two grandchildren, and two motorcyclists.
Taking to his Facebook page, the ‘Ayoo’ hitmaker claimed that what’s happening to the comedian is not solely about his issues with the mother of his kids, and the systemic challenges in the creative industry is also part. For that, people should speak up.
It’s worthy to recall that, in the middle of March 2024, Funny Face called out his kids’ mum, Vanessa, for not allowing him to see his children.
Shatta Wale posted; “The creative arts industry must break the cycle of self-punishment through depression and frustration. It’s time to speak up and seek help. What’s happening to Funny Face isn’t solely a marital issue; it’s indicative of deeper systemic challenges within our creative industries. Let’s acknowledge the dysfunction in our structures and stop pretending everything is fine. Speak up, it’s time for change!!
Sorry my brother funny face ,May God see you thru 🙏🥲”
Reports making rounds suggests that no one has died from the accident, and victims involved in the unfortunate incident are receiving and responding to treatment at Kasoa Polyclinic.
