The Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) is set to meet with Black Stars Head Coach Otto Addo on Wednesday, November 27, 2024. The agenda includes reviewing Coach Addo’s technical report on the recently concluded Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers and assessing the overall performance of the Black Stars technical team since he took charge earlier this year.
“The Executive Council will meet the Head Coach of the Black Stars, Mr. Otto Addo, on the 27th of November, 2024, to discuss his technical report on the just-ended AFCON qualifiers and the overall performance of the technical team since assuming duty earlier this year.” GFA stated
Coach Addo, who was appointed in early 2024, failed to guide the Black Stars to qualify for the 2025 AFCON tournament, which will be held in January 2025 in Morocco.
The meeting will allow him to address the challenges faced during the qualifiers and outline plans for the team’s preparation for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers.
The Executive Council will also discuss Coach Otto Addo’s future after the embarrassing Afcon qualifier game, which saw the Black Stars fail to qualify for the upcoming competition in Morocco for the first time in 20 years.
