John Dumelo, the NDC Parliamentary aspirant for Ayawaso West Wuogon, has expressed confidence in securing a significant portion of the votes in today’s special voting exercise. Speaking to the JoyNews, Dumelo revealed that he is targeting a little over 60% of the votes cast by security personnel and other special voters.
“I am targeting a little over 60% of the votes in the special voting,” Dumelo stated, emphasizing his optimism and belief in the support he has garnered within the constituency.
The special voting exercise, which began today, allows security personnel, election officials, and other essential workers to cast their votes ahead of the general election scheduled for December 7, 2024.
Dumelo, known for his grassroots engagement and community initiatives, has been a prominent figure in the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency, where he is vying for a seat in Parliament. His campaign has focused on issues such as youth empowerment, infrastructure development, and social support programs.
