Rosemound Oben ,former aide to the vice President and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, Dr. MohamaduBawumias, has expressed deep reservations about Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s leadership capabilities.
In an interview on GhOne TV, she questioned her former boss leadership style.“He cannot even manage a group of about 10 people when they are misbehaving. It saddens my heart that people think he can handle the affairs of our beautiful country of over 32 million people,” she said. According to Obeng, this lack of control would leave Ghana vulnerable, asserting, “Ghana will not be safe under Dr. Bawumia’s leadership.”
Obeng’s disapproval extended to Dr. Bawumia’s performance as the head of the Economic Management Team. She described him as a “bad and dishonest leader,” blaming him for Ghana’s economic hardships and the depreciation of the cedi against the US dollar.
“He’s not a consistent leader. His performance on the economy has been abysmal, and Ghanaians are assessing him based on that,” she remarked.
