New Aduana Stars head coach, Aristical Cioaba, has hinted at the possibility of bringing in new players during the upcoming transfer window, which opens in two weeks.
Addressing questions about team reinforcements, Coach Cioaba shared his initial observations after watching Aduana’s last three games, including their clash with Kotoko. He highlighted that the team’s issues stem more from set-piece defensive lapses, such as conceding from corner kicks and free kicks, than poor tactics.
“I’ve noticed the team doesn’t lose because of bad tactics but rather from set pieces. I want to assess the next three games and review the management’s report before deciding if we need reinforcements for specific positions. Perhaps management already has some players in mind before my arrival,” Cioaba stated.
The coach also emphasized his preference for giving the current squad a fair chance to prove themselves before making decisions. “I’m known as a hardworking coach who strives for better players in strong teams. If Aduana needs new players for the future, I will rely on the team’s report and bring in quality players. For now, I’d like to see what the current players can do in the next three games before deciding what the team needs.”
Aduana Stars fans will be eager to see how the team performs under Coach Cioaba’s leadership and whether new signings will be made to strengthen the squad for the remainder of the season.
