The former National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Freddie Blay Esq., defended the party’s actions, stating that they did not make serious mistakes that resulted in being punished at the polls.
The former chairman emphasized that the NPP should have done a better job of making Ghanaians understand the difficulties the party faced during its tenure.
He suggested that clearer communication with the public could have led to more support despite the challenges.
“NPP didn’t make any serious mistakes that we were punished for; rather, we should have made Ghanaians see the difficulties.”
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has lost the presidential election to the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The highly anticipated inauguration of the new president is scheduled for January 7th, marking the start of a new political era in Ghana.
