Following his exclusion from the NDC’s victory performance schedule, Stonebwoy released a mysterious message on social media, which sparked a range of opinions.
For his followers, the leader of BHIM Nation, who frequently calls himself “the Torcher,” shared a passage from Exodus 14:13, “From the TORCHER to BHIMNATION.”
The text of Exodus 14:13 says, “And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will show to you today: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more forever.”
This mysterious message follows an official announcement from the concert’s organizing committee revealing that Stonebwoy’s dismissal was brought about by pressure from NDC grassroots supporters.
According to reports, Stonebwoy was excluded because of concerns expressed by some of these fans regarding his purported affiliations with the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The choice may also have been influenced by Stonebwoy’s opponent Baba Sadiq, according to certain rumors.
Stonebwoy and Baba Sadiq, a prominent personality in the entertainment business and the NDC Parliamentary candidate for Okaikoi Central, have been at odds throughout 2024, which has led to speculation that his influence may have played a significant role in Stonebwoy’s exclusion from the event.
Other online users have viewed the action as a component of what they characterize as a larger “sabotage” of Stonebwoy’s career as it develops.
In the meantime, the University of Ghana Sports Stadium in Accra will host the National Democratic Congress’ election triumph event, sometimes known as the “Ghana Victory Concert,” on Sunday, January 5, 2025.
