President- elect John Mahama has praised President Akufo-Addo and his transition team for ensuring a cordial and seamless transfer of power.
Mahama expressed gratitude for the collaborative efforts, highlighting the professionalism displayed throughout the process.
“I want to thank you and your side of the transition team for what has been a cordial and smooth transition” he stated
During a visit to the Jubilee House to meet President Akufo-Addo, John Mahama commended the outgoing administration for facilitating a smooth and cordial transition.
Mahama and his Vice President-elect, Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, are set to be sworn in on January 7 to officially begin their administration.
This marks Mahama’s second time assuming the presidency, while Professor Opoku-Agyemang’s inauguration will make history as Ghana’s first female Vice President, representing a groundbreaking moment in the country’s political landscape.
