Ghanaian Gospel singer Empress Gifty bid farewell to her beloved mother, Evangelist Agnes Aba Annan, affectionately known as “Agaga,” on Saturday, January 18, 2025. The funeral service was a poignant occasion, with Empress Gifty overcome with grief and breaking down in tears.
However, the following day, a different spirit filled the air. Empress Gifty, dressed entirely in white, joined others in a joyous celebration of her mother’s life at a Thanksgiving service. The atmosphere was electric as she danced in praise, finding solace and joy in remembering the vibrant spirit of her mother.
Additionally, Hopeson Adorye, Empress Gifty’s Husband, joined the dance while wearing a white costume. While others joined in the Thanksgiving service, he was also observed sprinkling her with GHc50 notes.
