After a long rant between the two giant schools in Tarkwa ahead of the maiden edition of the Independence Day Ceremonial game organized by the management of Mining City Radio, Tarkwa Senior High have silenced their rivals Fiaseman Senior High.
Prior to the game,people whose alma mater’s are Tarsco and Fiasec bluffed and talked a lot. Medeama SC vice captain Kofi Asmah who happens to be an old student of Fiasec summarized his bluff as an easy win for his alma mater over his club’s CEO Moses Parker’s Tarkwa Senior High.
After the game today,Tarsco won by a goal to nil. Samuel Andoh scored the only goal of the game which led to the clinching of the trophy.
The win means Tarsco have gained the bragging rights for the year until another fixture between the two schools is held. They go with Ghana Cedis 2,000.00 while Fiasec goes with Ghana Cedis 1,000.00.
It was very interesting to watch as old students rallied behind their schools at the Cyanide Astro Turf. After the game,a student of Tarsco requested Medikal’s “omo ada” to the entire Fiasec institution.
