The Ghana national team flew to Qatar after wrapping up their camp on Thursday with a massive 2-0 win over Switzerland in the final warm-up friendly.
The Black Stars will begin their world cup journey with a tough game against Portugal on Thursday. The game will be held at Doha’s Stadium 974.
After missing out on the previous edition in 2018, the four-time African champions hope to improve their finish at the global football event, which begins on Sunday.
Ghana’s best World Cup finish came in 2010 in South Africa, when they reached the quarterfinals before losing to Uruguay in post-match penalty shootouts.
