Aduana Stars’ newly appointed head coach, Aristical Cioaba, has stated that he will assess the club’s backroom staff professionally after observing their performance in the next three games.
Speaking about the current technical team, Cioaba clarified that personal relationships will not influence his decisions. “I’m not here to work with people because they are friends. I’ve worked with Bordor before during the 2011/12 season, and I know Okra has also worked with me in the past. The assistant coach [Tandoh] was with Hearts of Oak before joining Aduana. However, I’m here for a professional job, not for friendships,” he remarked.
The coach emphasized that his focus is on performance and professionalism, adding, “After the next three games, I will decide which players or staff members will stay or leave. My decisions will be based solely on what is best for the team.”
Cioaba’s no-nonsense approach has reinforced his commitment to reviving Aduana Stars and ensuring the team is equipped with the right personnel to succeed. Aduana Stars is currently sitting at 14th of the Ghana Premeir League log after 12 games.
