Former President and flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, has expressed confidence in a decisive victory in the upcoming 2024 general election. Speaking at a rally, Mahama asserted that his party is preparing to secure a win at the polling stations without the need for any court battles.
“We are winning one touch at the polling station,” Mahama declared, emphasizing the NDC’s strategy to ensure electoral success through proper monitoring and vigilance. He reassured party supporters of a resounding victory, noting that the NDC has learned from past experiences and is implementing measures to safeguard the electoral process.
The former president further stressed the importance of transparency, urging party agents and members to be actively involved in the voting and counting process. “We won’t go to court; we will win fair and square,” Mahama stated, underscoring the NDC’s determination to avoid post-election disputes by focusing on a comprehensive and effective campaign.
