Accra Hearts of Oak Board Member, Alhaji Brimah Akambi has stressed the club will be in total mess should club Bankroller Togbe Afede XIV leaves.
The club’s heirachy has recently bewn under inmmed pressure following the Phobians exit from the CAF Confederations Cup.
Section of the club supporters descended heavily on the Board Chairman to make changes in the club administration.
However, to Alhaji Akambi, the supporters need to calm down and support the Board Chairman because if he decides to leave the club, the club will be like a cornerstone.
Speaking in an interview with Radio Gold, Alhaji Akambi said;
“If care is not taken and Togbe Afede XIV moves away from Hearts of Oak, the gospel truth is that the club will turn to Venom Vipers or Cornerstone.
“So I will urge all the supporters to support the club and the board and rally behind the club in prayers.
“Togbe really loves Hearts Of Oak and is doing everything possible to make the club a powerhouse again, let’s be patient” He concluded.
Hearts of Oak secured their first win of the season with a 2-1 win against Babiani Gold Stars in the matchday four games at the Accra Sports.
The Rainbow side enroute to Cape Coast where they face Kotoku Royal at the Cape Coast Stadium in matchday five on Saturday.
