Ghanaian songwriter and singer, De Thompson DDT, made it clear that his song “Honorable Waawe” was not created for any political party to use in ransacking any of them following the outcome of the December 7, 2024 elections.
The “Honable Waawe” hitmaker and a sound engineer said in an interview with Amansan Krakye explaining that the song was not composed to troll those who lost in the 2024 polls, it wasn’t composed with any particular political party in mind.
He stated ” I don’t see it as people using my song “Honable Waawe” to troll those who lost the 2024 polls. The real message of the song has been lost. What it basically means is that if you lose it’s because you didn’t perform your duties properly. That why you’ve been voted out, so next time, if you get the opportunit7, you perform well.”
He again explained that the song was not intended for any specific party.
” I didn’t create “honable Waawe” for any particular political party. In four yeas, those laughing today might also be crying if they don’t perform their assignment well. Every four years, the song renews itself” he stated
