Ibrahim Mahama, CEO of Engineers & Planners Ltd and Dzata Cement, has stepped forward to assist journalist Kofi Adomah.
He generously funded Adomah’s eye surgery in Dubai after the journalist suffered severe injuries in a shooting incident.
This compassionate gesture was disclosed by broadcaster Nana Yaa Brefo during the Yen Nsempa Morning Showon Onua FM on January 22. According to her, Mahama’s intervention followed a conversation in which she shared details of Kofi Adomah’s ordeal.
Without hesitation, Mahama assured her of his support and instructed that immediate arrangements be made for the surgery. “This is why God continues to bless him. Ibrahim Mahama, God bless him. He told me, ‘Yaa, do not worry. Tell them to move to Dubai today,’” Brefo recounted during the broadcast.
Kofi Adomah has faced numerous challenges since being shot in the eye. Nana Yaa Brefo, recalling a recent visit to his home, described the immense emotional toll the experience has had on him.
The incident has drawn widespread concern and sympathy for Adomah, who has become a symbol of resilience in the face of adversity.
Ibrahim Mahama’s timely support underscores the importance of solidarity and kindness in difficult times.
