Fantasy Dome, a building worth $25m with everything in it was demolished by the National Security under the CEO of Trade Fair Company Limited, Dr. Agnes Aduʼs order.
Leslie Quaynor, CEO of Fantasy Entertainment has revealed what they planned to do with now-demolished Fantasy Dome.
The Fantasy Dome, an event center which has hosted so many events was razed by the Ghana Trade Fair Company.
CEO of Ghana Trade Fair Center, Dr Agnes Adu, in an interview with Joy FM broadcaster, Kwame Dadzie, revealed that they followed all the tenancy policies, served Leslie Quaynor multiple notice as much as practicable before demolishing the Fantasy Dome.
Leslie in an interview on Hitz FM has divulged what they planned to do with the Fantasy Dome.
“The plan was to dismantle the Fantasy Dome professionally and hoist it back at the University of Ghana. This was supposed to be done after the end of my lease in December. We pleaded with Dr. Agnes Adu to give us an extra 60 days to finish everything and yet, it was destroyed, without a court order. – Leslie Quaynor stated.
Leslie Quaynor, however, has expressed his disappointments and grievances towards the demolition exercise given that Ghana can’t boast of event centers with
“What is sad is that Ghana does not have an event centre that can hold up to 4000 people right now,” he stated.
“For me to be successful, I need 4 to 5 acres of land. I need to have enough parking space, enough washrooms and all that. The Fantasy Dome sat on 2 acres. I am still looking for land in Accra to rebuild the Fantasy Dome,” – Leslie Quaynor on plans to put up the Fantasy Dome again.
