President-elect John Dramani Mahama has credited God’s intervention for what he describes as a monumental political triumph. Speaking after the victory, Mahama emphasized that the scale of the win was beyond human effort.
“This can’t be by our might. I was positive that we would win, but the extent of this victory can only be God’s hand at work,” he stated.
The former president expressed profound gratitude to Ghanaians for what he called one of the most significant endorsements ever given to a leader in the country’s history.
“It is one of the biggest endorsements that Ghanaians have ever given to any president,” Mahama added.
The victory represents a significant milestone in Mahama’s political journey, reinforcing his stature as a key figure in Ghanaian politics. The inauguration is scheduled for January 7, 2025, following the sitting President’s assurance of a peaceful transition to the President-elect.
