The worst ranked nation Black Stars Of Ghana played against a world ranked 15th position nation Switzerland according to the Fifa on the nations that qualified for the Qatar World Cup

Despite Ghana not fielding all their stars we normally see, they were able to outplay Switzerland that fielded most of their stars in the game (Xhaka of Arsenal, Dennis Zakaria of Chelsea, Goalkeeper Yann Sommer) just to mention a few. At the end of 90 minutes Mohammed Salisu of Southampton and Antoine Semenyo of Bristol City respectively gave Ghana the lead over Switzerland (2:0).

Ghanaians are happy with the way players played today and was really amazed with the performance of our Daniel Afriyie Barnieh who plays for the local side team Hearts Of Oak. Most Ghanaians cheered him up and praise the hard coach for trusting in Barnieh and giving him 65’ minutes to justify himself.
