President John Dramani Mahama has expressed gratitude to religious leaders across various faiths for their steadfast commitment to Ghana’s peace and development.
Speaking at the 92nd Jalsa of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission in Winneba on January 9, 2025, he praised the spiritual guidance and support provided by religious leaders in fostering unity and national growth.
“I am grateful for the prayers and support of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, the National Chief Imam, and religious leaders across all faiths. Your spiritual guidance and unshakable commitment to Ghana’s peace and progress have been invaluable,” President Mahama remarked.
The event, which brought together thousands of Ahmadi Muslims and dignitaries, highlighted themes of religious tolerance and the collective role of faith-based organizations in promoting societal harmony. President Mahama emphasized the importance of interfaith collaboration, urging religious leaders to continue to serve as moral compasses in addressing Ghana’s challenges.
