Renowned Dj and radio broadcaster, Majik George, has made audacious statement in light of Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin bringing in actors from Nigeria to be starred in forthcoming movie, A COUNTRY CALLED GHANA.
Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin welcomed Ramsey Nouah, Victor Osuagwu and Charles Awurum to Ghana on Monday, February 19, 2024, as they’re set to begin shooting. The videos of their arrival which circulated on social media brought joy to many. Lilwin was applauded by many for bringing such veterans to be part of his production.
However, Dj Majik George from EIB Western Region cluster ( Empire FM and Radio 360) believes it’s waste of resources to bring these actors because they’re no more relevant in the movie space.
He believes if Lilwin wants to enter the Nigerian market, these are not the right actors to go for.
“Ramsey Nouah is fine actor, no doubt. But if you want to enter the Nigerian market, which I’m sure that’s what Lilwin is intending to achieve, then these are not the right actors to go for…. It’s just a waste of resources because what can Victor Osuagwu and Charles Awurum do that Akrobeto can’t?
“These people are not even being casted in their own country as they used to. It tells you they’re not relevant anymore. Young actors/actresses like Maurice Sam, Uche Montana, and others are who people are watching now.” — Majik George on Connect FM Entertainment Review Show with Ato Kwamina Otoo D’gem.
