The Ghanaian rapper Michael Owusu Addo popularly know as “Sarkodie” hit the internet with his latest banger titled “No Sir”
The multi-award winner Sarkodie released this banger few days ago to advise young men to cut their coats to fit their sizes as we approach the festive season.
Sarkodie said in an interview with Accra based Joy news that “ This is a real life scenario and I think from both perspectives, I believe I had it previously, but it wasn’t as severe. I hailed from a middle class household, but a friend of mine who was from a rich family owned a car. I haven’t been in that position because I don’t know people, you know. He had a space and he occupied the boys quarters of his house, so my girl, whom we all know I was dating and I connected but then i took it to the chin and changed from that day.
“This is a very relatable story; people will go out with their girlfriends this December and might end up going home alone” he stated.
Sarkodie stated that he had been holding onto this song for two years and was reluctant to release it, particularly given the tension surrounding the election. However the distributors did so and the response has been positive.
