Stonebwoy has made some shocking claims about Shatta Wale’s impending appearance at Vybz Kartel’s eagerly awaited concert in Jamaica, which is part of a continuing resurgence of his long-running animosity with the musician.
Fans erupted in excitement upon learning that Shatta Wale, a Ghanaian dancehall musician, had been booked to perform at the concert of Vybz Kartel, one of Jamaica’s most well-known international artists.
Many of Shatta’s supporters were extremely excited by the news, viewing it as a great victory for him.
Stonebwoy was made fun of by some Shatta Wale supporters, who said that Shatta’s participation in the Vybz Kartel show demonstrated that he is now the “go-to” musician for high-profile international prospects.
Stonebwoy, who is also known as the “face of reggae and dancehall” in Ghana, has recently spoken out to defend his position and address what he sees as a tendency to overlook his own achievements in favor of celebrating Shatta Wale’s latest opportunity.
They quickly drew comparisons with Stonebwoy, highlighting Shatta Wale’s recent successes, including his feature on Beyoncé’s project, as evidence that he was surpassing his rival in international recognition.
He said he has played a key role in bringing well-known dancehall performers like Spice to Ghana and in promoting relationships between Ghanaian and Jamaican artists.
