University of Education, Winneba Selected as Host for Inaugural International Footvolley Competition

The University of Education, Winneba, has been chosen as the prestigious venue for the upcoming Ghana International Footvolley Cup 2024, marking the debut of this exciting event on the national stage.
A special training camp has been organized to kick off the festivities, slated to take place from February 17th to 21st, 2024. Participants can expect rigorous sessions from morning to evening, with timings set from 8:00 am to 10:30 am in the mornings, and 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm in the evenings, all at the University of Education, Winneba’s North campus.
The main event, the Ghana International Footvolley Cup, will take place on February 22nd and 23rd, 2024, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, once again hosted at the University of Education, Winneba’s North campus.
Hon. Mustapha Mohammed, the President of Ghana Footvolley, has revealed that the competition will feature teams from various nations, including Austria, Finland, Benin, as well as local talent representing Ghana. This diverse lineup promises an exhilarating showcase of skill and sportsmanship.
In light of these developments, the newly elected young Assemblymember at Kasoa has encouraged Ghanaians to embrace sports and explore alternative disciplines like Footvolley, emphasizing its thrilling nature and potential for widespread appeal.
